CV LOUISE CLARKE
Louise began her professional career when leaving College and forming the theatre/dance company No Sudden Movement [NoSM]. Their first offer 'P.S I love you' was awarded the Dutch choreography Prize, 1998. The company went on to make two further productions, both toured around the festival circuit in The Netherlands.
In 2000 Louise joined large-scale Dutch location theatre company, Warner & Consorten to perform two productions directed by the ex-founder of Dogtroep, Warner Wely.
She was then invited to join
Mevrouw Bakker, Dutch Street Theatre Company based in Amsterdam. Louise performed, directed and devised three consecutive performances, 'Thighs of Steel', 2001, 'Re-incarnation of Evel Knievel', 2002 and 'The Quest for the Ultimate Man', 2003. Each production toured extensively around the festival circuit of Europe.
In summer, 2004 Louise embarked on a solo career with the show 'Pandora's Boxes'. Louise has just finished her first collaboration with Mr. Spin, a tribute to the great vaudevillian comedy duos of the 20th Century, Abbott & Costello, Dean Martin & Jerry Lewis, Lucy & Ricky Ricardo.
She is also the performance coordinator for the highly successful Adelaide International Street Arts Festival that takes place every year in Adelaide, Australia.
As well as performing, devising and directing Louise coordinates European tours for many circus/street performers, organizing Australian Street theatre company 'Buzz' and managing world class juggler Mr Spin.
