CV Nigel Lunghi
With a background in classical dance and inspired by Vaudeville greats Enrich Rastelli, Francis Brunn and Bobby May, Nigel has focused on developing high level skills, fluid movement and his own quirky style of comedy.
Nigel Lunghi (alias Mr Spin) has performed in many other guises, as a bass player in the 90's band 'Babaganush', with performance groups 'Buzz', 'Slack Taxi', and Australia's Lunar Circus. Mr Spin was also asked to play the lead role in Rolf de Heer's movie, 'Dr Plonk'. The film is a slapstick tribute to the black & white silent greats; Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton, and was released in August 2007.
Nigel's most recent development, 'Enrico - The Strange', directed by Mike Finch from Circus Oz was inspired by the silent clowns of the last century. More information about Enrico is on this website.
In 2010 Nigel co-built 'Castello', a mini wooden tent which hosts a mixture of short, quirky, intimate circus and theatre shows. It made it's debut in 2010 at 'The Garden of Unearthly Delights' as part of The Adelaide Fringe.
As well as performing Nigel helps coordinator the highly successful ' The Adelaide Fringe Street Theatre Festival' that takes place every March in his hometown of Adelaide.
