Bamboozled Productions is an internationally recognised independent artist and producers collective dedicated to presenting bold, diverse and inspiring events, festivals, venues and performances.
Bamboozled specialises in custom built wooden performance venues, street theatre, roving and character performance, hosting, curated programs, events, festivals and site specific work.
Bamboozled has developed and created 6 custom made wooden pop up Cabaret, Theatre Venues and Circus Tents that they offer for hire. Seating ranges from 50 to 210 people and includes sound, lighting, and complete installation and pack down.

The Bamboozled team have a wealth of experience as festival programmers, producers, event managers, performers and venue designers, builders & managers. Born out of a meeting of minds between internationally renowned, Adelaide based performers Nigel Martin and Louise Clarke who have been successfully touring Australia and the globe for over 20 years. The pair have appeared at numerous festivals and events including Glastonbury Music Festival, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the 2012 London Olympics, Kim Tom Clown Festival (China), Fun 4 Kids (VIC) Tour Down Under, Melbourne Commonwealth Games as well as numerous corporate events.

Nigel Martin is a comic vaudevillian performer who has been entertaining large and enthusiastic audiences worldwide and in his hometown of Adelaide for the last 20 years. With his ferocious energy & endearing, charismatic wit, Nigel is a true comic genius and one of Australia’s finest jugglers. With a background in classical dance and inspired by Vaudeville greats Enrico Rastelli & Francis Brunn, Nigel has focused on developing high level skills, impeccable timing, fluid movement and his own quirky style of comedy.

Nigel can be seen under other guises performing with Slack Taxi and Australia’s Lunar Circus. He was spotted by Australian film director Rolf de Heer while performing in Adelaide and cast to play the lead role in ‘Dr Plonk’. This ingenious film received 5 star reviews around the globe.
He is the brains behind the unique design of the Bamboozled pop up venues, and also composes the music for most of his performances.

Louise began her professional career by forming the theatre/dance company No Sudden Movement [NoSM] which was awarded the Dutch choreography Prize in 1998 for ‘P.S I love you’. She later performed with the large-scale Dutch site-specific theatre company Warner & Consorten and with Mevrouw Bakker, the renowned Dutch Street Theatre Company based in Amsterdam.
In 2004, Louise embarked on a solo career with the show ‘Pandora’s Boxes‘ and then collaborated with Nigel to produce ‘The Doogans‘, a tribute to the great vaudevillian comedy duos of the 20th Century. She draws on her training in fine art, theatre and dance to create work that is eclectic, spontaneous, energetic and always entertaining.

As well as performing, devising and directing, Louise is also the performance director for the highly successful ‘Fringe Street Theatre Festival’ that takes place every year in Adelaide. The event won the Australian Business Arts Foundation (ABaf) award in collaboration with Rundle Mall in 2011. In addition to the fringe, she manages Bamboozled’s six custom made pop up venues, programs street performance in Rundle Mall and manages world-class juggler Mr. Spin.
In 2015 and 2016 Louise co-produced The Royal Croquet Club, as part of The Adelaide Fringe. Along with her business partner, Sasha Zahra, Louise programmed a mixture of 36 local, interstate and international companies. The program was voted the best fringe program by The Guardian. Louise and Sasha will be taking on this role again in 2017.

Previously Sasha has been the Artistic Director of D Faces Of Youth Arts, Artistic Director of Kurruru Indigenous Youth Performing Arts, Program Manager at Carlew Youth Arts Centre, Assistant Director at State Theater Company of SA, Associate Artistic Director of the 2009 Australian Festival for Young People (Come Out) and has directed opening events, parades and ceremonies on both large and small scale. In 2009 Sasha attended the inaugural Wan Smolbag International Theatre Festival (Vanuatu) – curating/producing the Australian contingent of the Festival.
From Aug 2010 to Oct 2014 Sasha was Creative Producer of the Adelaide Festival where she produced and programmed numerous successful projects including Fringe Club (2010 – 2014), Desert Fringe (2010 – 2015), Window World, the Visibility Project. Sasha directed award winning/Greenroom Award nominated The Book of Loco by Alirio Zavarce performed in Vitalstatistix’s headphone verbatim show Cutaway – Portrait directed by Roslyn Oades, is a board member of Restless Dance Theatre, and more recently programmed and produced the 2014 Wan Smolbag International Theatre Festival (Vanuatu). Along with Louise Clarke (Director Bamboozled Productions) Sasha co-produced / programmed Royal Croquet Club’s highly successful and critically acclaimed 2015 Adelaide Fringe program. In 2014 Sasha joined the Briefs Factory and also Bamboozled Productions as a Producer.
